The West Wales coast was calling

Sometimes you just have to down tools, pack your beach essentials and drive the family to the coast.

Due to family business commitments it was Saturday night before we managed to escape the city. We planned to meet friends for a quick beach break in Broadhaven, West Wales as part of a university reunion – the best excuse ever, although you shouldn’t really need one.

The surf was pumping and the pub music even more so! Quick few pints and it was soon bedtime.

Sunday morning posh coffees and warm croissants at a local cafe was a pleasant start to the day ahead and even more so with its dramatic sea view. Funny how you can sit passing the time when all you see is the sea.

The majority of the group emptied their vans of water sport toys. Before we had even made base camp the wetsuit brigade were cruising the peeling waves – happy faces all round!

Lunchtime was upon us in a hot so it was time for me to take my cheeky 3 year old further West to the boutique seaside town, well actually the city of St Davids.

I am NEVER disappointed when arriving at this cute happy place. It’s seems every year a new booming beach inspired business has opened it’s doors.

I bumped into a few jolly souls discussing business plans for a beach hut that sells hoodies, caps and mugs. It was uber cool and an additional enterprise to the owner of a local B&B on the high street called The Coach House

My plan is to interview a few of these fabulous business people later in the month. Including one talented young entrepreneur called Grant from Unsunghero

I was desperate to interview Grant today about his delightful funky store, but it was streaming with young customers eager to learn about his business particularly his surf board designs! – a design and surfboard/skateboard shaper also selling a collection of bags, accessories and cool stuff! – a champion of all champion businesses who are proud and passionate to be Living Life’s Adventures since 1986

So here are a few images to capture the businesses and the characters behind them for the time being:
